Leadax | Sustainable & Circular Waterproofing

Leadax is the innovator and manufacturer of circular waterproofing products for the world of today. Leadax is using recycled plastic (Polyvinyl butyral (r-PVB)), which is formerly used in laminated glass (such as car windows), as a raw material for waterproofing products. There is an abundance of PVB waste available worldwide. In Europe alone, this pile of waste weights more than 1.5 billion kilograms, which increases with the same weight every year. This waste used to be dumped or burned.

Leadax uses this waste and creates products that can be recycled and reused as Leadax products again. Leadax’s product range includes Leadax Original - the circular lead substitute that is processed in the same way as traditional lead sheet, Leadax Easy - the self-adhesive circular lead substitute, and Leadax Roov - the smart, circular solution for flat roofing.

Phase Change Materials (PCMs) are special thermal energy storage materials, used as a reliable source of energy to maintain required temperatures in various applications and industries.

We produce PCM Phase change material to store warm and cold  energy in a wide range of temperatures, ranging from -76 deg c to +151 deg c, which can be used to reduce energy consumption and make life more  sustainable.

In this way, the system is able to store all rain that falls on the roof and to dispose of or use at a later time.
