Improve Load Demand Forecasting using Synthetic Load Profiles

Smart meter energy consumption data holds great potential for Load Demand Forecasting. Both grid operators and energy suppliers could greatly benefit from having full access in order to improve optimise the rid, align supply and identify new commercial opportunities. Smart meter data however is often extremely difficult to access as it contains privacy sensitive information about individual households. In this presentation we will share with you how synthetic load profiles can be used to overcome this challenge and improve Load Demand forecasting.

Grid Design Solutions

Utilize the True Transmission Capacity of the Cable Grid

The INCA research project shall develop software and new technology to increase utilization of existing cable grid and increase transmission capacity by 20 to 70%. By modeling time-varying current, available capacity in the grid will be identified and made available. This will provide more flexibility to operate the grid efficiently. We will extend and integrate the Grøft Design® software for calculating transmission capacity, with real-time monitoring of cable installations. This enables utility companies to utilize the true transmission capacity of the cable grid.

14:30 - 15:00

Blockbax

One platform to monitor and control critical assets

In an increasingly more complex world, with more assets and information, your asset experts need to be enabled to operate fully data-driven to create an efficient and sustainable business. Blockbax provides access to all and systems through a single unified view and empowers assets expert to instantly gain insights and improve operations. We believe the ability to react on live data will become a critical capability, Blockbax allows companies to directly react to events and use the insights to prevent future incidents.

Unlock the full value of your time series data

Energy companies need to be able to adapt quickly to regulation, efficiency  and value chain requirements given the energy transistion. Data volumes explode however data is mostly in silo's and disconnected systems which prevents leveraging the value to quickly adjust or be more efficient and drive automation

Scenario simulations are preparation for optimal sizing and control

You can buy modern energy assets (batteries, heat pumps, EV chargers), but how many, what size will work well? How efficient can we orchestrate behind the meter, while ensuring we operate within grid limits and dynamic prices? Imagine being able to present the definite answer, even for complex settings, across several scenarios. And then to go to real-time control with the same software. We will show our approach and discuss use cases for commercial buildings.
