About the mission

Does your SME company or scale-up offer energy-related technology in the field of sustainable construction and/or renovation? Does entering the Swedish and/or Danish market fit your business strategy? Register now for this trade mission! Both Sweden and Denmark have great ambitions when it comes to achieving energy-saving construction and renovations in the coming decades. For example, Copenhagen has set itself the goal of becoming the world's first carbon-neutral capital by 2025, and of completely eliminating the city's 2 million tons of carbon footprint over a 10-year period. The Swedish construction sector aims to reduce emissions by 50% by 2030. The goals set require a significant investment in clean technologies.

his offers opportunities for Dutch companies, as can also be read in this recent market report on Sustainable Building Opportunities in Sweden and Denmark. The past year and a half has shown that in both Denmark and Sweden there is a lot of interest in collaborating with Dutch technology providers. During this period, several (online) events took place where Dutch companies were brought into contact with a wide range of projects, potential partners and customers in both countries.

With the physical mission from 13 to 16 June 2022, Dutch companies will have the opportunity to build on the relationships that have been established in the Copenhagen, Malmö/Lund and Helsingborg regions. Companies that were not previously involved are also welcome to sign up for this trade mission.

Why is this mission valuable to me?

  • Visit no fewer than four cities with many opportunities in the field of both new construction and renovation: Copenhagen, Malmö, Lund and Helsingborg.
  • Get in touch with new potential partners and customers, and/or meet your previously established contacts on the spot.
  • Gain insight into concrete projects on the Swedish and Danish market and how your company can seize opportunities on these projects.
  • Possibility of gaining market access with the Dutch government through consortia formation and public-private partnership.
  • Possibility of one-to-one matchmaking for the Danish or Swedish market by a local matchmaker.
