About 3000 foreign companies have set up subsidiaries in Zuid-Holland and have invested in facilities, equipment and personnel. But how safe are these assets from the effects of climate change in a region mainly below sea level and in the heart of one of Europe's largest river deltas? Add to this the occurrence of more extreme weather events such as drought, extreme rainfall and storms and the questions arise: Are we well enough prepared for a changing climate? And what can we do to become more resilient?

During this workshop we want to inform and inspire the international audience on what climate adaption and being resilient actually encompasses. From a global perspective, to a more regional approach, to showcasing innovations developed in this region that can be implemented on a company level.

- Introduction by the Global Center on Adaptation
- Climate Adaptation in the Rotterdam Region
- Showcases of companies from this region with climate adaptative innovations
